Drive to Harran about 50 km to south from Urfa. Harran is believed to be the home of Biblical Abraham. In 53 BC, the Roman general Crassus and his legionnaires were defeated by the Parthians at the Battle of Carrae. The beehive-houses made of mud, the ruins of the biggest ancient Harran Islamic University, the ancient city walls are the spots.
Drive back to Urfa, dinner in a traditional restaurant, stay overnight.
Departure at about 09:40 to catch the flight back to Istanbul.
